Ceri has a wealth of experience in dental implant treatments. As well as his work at Elgin Park Ceri also works in practices across Bristol, Gloucestershire and South Wales to provide dental implant treatments on a referral basis.
We have extensive experience in dental implant and bone grafting cases as far ranging as simple single tooth replacement to full mouth and jaw reconstructions.
Ceri is also a registered Struamann mentor guiding newly trained dentists in implant dentistry. He is also a Fellow of the International Team for Implantology and runs the Bristol branch study club.
A dental implant is an orthopaedic screw made from Titanium that can be inserted into the jaw bone to replace a missing tooth. This metal undergoes a process of osseointegration, which means that the body not only accepts it but the cells grow new bone onto the metal surface fusing it to the jawbone. This process takes time but once integrated they can be used to support single teeth, multiple tooth bridges or well secured dentures.

Implants can be used to replace single teeth or a full jaw of teeth. Patients with loose full dentures can stabilize them with the use of implants.
